# Creating a Course Using AI

After selecting Create Course Using AI and providing the required course details, CircleHD generates the course and opens the course configuration screen.

# The course configuration screen contains three sections:

  • About
  • Lessons
  • Assignments

The About section is selected by default.

# Step 1: Navigate to Course Creation

  • Go to Learning from the main navigation.
  • Select Courses.
  • Click Create Course Using AI from the top-right corner.

# Step 2: Enter Course Information

Enter the required information:

  • Course Title: Enter the name of the course.
  • Description: Enter a brief description of the course.
  • Business Unit: Select the applicable Business Unit.
  • Department: Select the applicable Department.
  • Job Role: Select the applicable Job Role.
  • Skills: Add the relevant Skills associated with the course.

After entering the required information, click Create Course to generate the course.

# About Section

The About section contains the main course information and configuration options.

  • Course Thumbnail : The system displays a default course thumbnail automatically.

    • You can replace the default thumbnail with a custom image manually.

  • Course Description : Review and update the course description generated from the provided course information.

  • Course Completion Order : Enable All the units must be completed in order if learners are required to complete the course units sequentially.When enabled, learners must complete the units in the defined order.

  • Course Objective : Add or update the Course Objective to define what learners are expected to achieve after completing the course.

  • Badges : Select the applicable Badge that should be associated with the course.

  • **Course Mapping ** Configure the following course mapping details:

    • Business Unit
    • Department
    • Job Role These fields can be used to associate the course with the relevant organizational structure.

  • Duration in Hours : Enter the expected duration of the course in hours.

  • **Tags 😗*Add relevant Tags to help categorize and identify the course.

  • Course Owner : Select or add the Course Owner responsible for managing the course.

  • Certificate of Completion Enable Offer Certificate Of Completion if learners should receive a certificate after successfully completing the course.

  • Certificate Expiry :

    • When Offer Certificate Of Completion is enabled, an additional option is displayed:
    • Enable Certificate Expiry Duration
    • Enable this option if the certificate should have an expiry period.
    • Configure the required Certificate Expiry Date/Duration based on the available options.

# Step 4: Save the Course

After reviewing and configuring all the information in the About section, click Save to save the course details.

Important: Review all course information before saving to ensure the generated course details, learner completion settings, ownership, mapping, and certificate configuration are correct.

# Creating a Course Using AI – Lessons

The Lessons section allows you to review and configure the AI-generated course content. You can add new units, add quizzes, and select the appropriate content type for each learning activity.

# 1. Open the Lessons Section :

Select Lessons from the course configuration screen. The system displays the available course units and lessons. Review the AI-generated content and make changes if required.

# 2. Add a Unit

Click Add Unit to create a new learning unit. A unit can contain different types of learning content and activities.

When adding content to a unit, you can select from the following content types:

  • Content + Media – Add learning content together with supporting media.
  • Media – Add media-based learning content.
  • Content – Add text-based learning content.
  • Click to Reveal – Add content that learners can reveal or interact with.
  • Scenario – Add scenario-based learning content.
  • Quiz – Add an assessment activity within the unit. Select the appropriate content type based on the learning requirement.

# 3. Add a Quiz

You can add a quiz within a unit by selecting Add Quiz. The quiz allows you to evaluate the learner's understanding of the course content. The following question types are available:

  • Single Choice : Allows the learner to select one correct answer from the available options.
  • Multiple Choice: Allows the learner to select multiple correct answers from the available options.
  • Image Choice : Allows the learner to select an answer using images as the answer options.
  • Video Scenario : Allows you to create a question based on a video-based scenario.
  • Fill in the Blanks: Allows the learner to enter the missing word or information in the provided blank.
  • Match the Following : Allows the learner to match items from one list with the corresponding items from another list.
  • True or False : Allows the learner to select whether a given statement is True or False.

# 4. Review the Lessons

Before moving to the Assignments section:

Review all units. Review the content added to each unit. Verify the order of the learning content. Review the quizzes and question types. Make any required changes to the AI-generated content.

Important: AI-generated course content should be reviewed and edited as required before the course is finalized. Ensure that the units, lessons, activities, and quiz questions are relevant to the course objectives.
